The historic center of Modena is a Limited Traffic Zone (ZTL), meaning cars are not allowed without a special permit. We recommend parking in the streets surrounding the city center, though spots can be limited. From these parking areas, the Palazzo Comunale di Modena is easily reachable on foot within approximately 10-15 minutes.
